A slab is only as good as what is under it — and in Colorado Springs, what is under it is often expansive clay that swells and shifts. Whether you are pouring a garage floor, setting a pad for a shed or shop, adding an RV parking pad, or need footings for a new structure, the base prep and reinforcement are what keep the slab flat and crack-controlled for the long haul. We pour residential slabs and pads sized and reinforced for the load they will carry.

Slabs & Pads We Pour

  • Garage floors and garage additions
  • Shed, shop, and pole-barn slabs
  • RV, trailer, and boat parking pads
  • Equipment and generator pads
  • Hot tub and shed foundation pads
  • Footings and thickened-edge slabs

Poured to Carry the Load

Different slabs need different builds. A shed pad and a slab that will hold an RV or shop equipment are not the same job, so we match thickness, reinforcement, and base depth to the weight and use. Every pour gets a compacted sub-base, appropriate rebar or mesh, vapor barrier where it belongs, control joints, and a finish suited to the space — a smooth trowel finish for a garage, or broom texture where traction matters.

What Does a Slab Cost?

Slabs and pads generally price out in the $8–$16 per square foot range, with thicker, heavily reinforced slabs at the higher end. Thickness, reinforcement, site access, and grading all factor in. Tell us the size and how you will use it, and we will give you a free written quote.

How thick should my slab be?

A typical shed or patio slab is 4 inches. Garage floors, RV pads, and slabs holding heavy loads are usually 5–6 inches with added reinforcement. We spec it to your use.

Do I need a permit?

Some slabs and structures require permits depending on size and location. We can talk through what your project likely needs when we come out to estimate.

Can you pour a pad for my RV or hot tub?

Absolutely. Those are common jobs. We size and reinforce the pad for the weight so it does not crack or settle under the load.
